At IAMAIPLUS, we understand that circumstances may change after enrollment. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which learners may cancel their enrollment and request refunds. Please read this policy carefully before enrolling in any course.

Important: All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to refunds@iamaiplus.com with your enrollment details and reason for cancellation.

2. General Refund Policy

Fees once paid are generally non-refundable, except under the specific circumstances outlined in this policy. Our refund structure is based on the timing of your cancellation request relative to the course commencement date.

Please Note: The course commencement date is defined as the first official day of class instruction, not the enrollment or payment date.

3. Refund Schedule

The amount of refund you are eligible for depends on when you submit your cancellation request:

3.1 Detailed Breakdown

Scenario 1: Cancellation Before Course Starts

If you cancel your enrollment before the first day of class, you are eligible for an 80% refund. The 20% administrative fee covers registration processing, seat reservation, and course preparation costs.

Example: Course fee: ₹50,000 | Refund: ₹40,000 | Retained: ₹10,000

Scenario 2: Cancellation Within First 5 Days

If you attend any classes or access course materials and decide to cancel within the first 5 days of the course start date, you are eligible for a 50% refund. This recognizes that you have received some value from the course while allowing you to exit early.

Example: Course fee: ₹50,000 | Refund: ₹25,000 | Retained: ₹25,000

Scenario 3: Cancellation After 5 Days

After the initial 5-day period, you have made a significant commitment to the course and have access to substantial course materials and instruction. Therefore, no refund is available for cancellations made after this period.

Example: Course fee: ₹50,000 | Refund: ₹0 | Retained: ₹50,000

Scenario 4: Institute-Initiated Cancellation

If IAMAIPLUS cancels or indefinitely postpones a course due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a 100% full refund with no deductions.

Example: Course fee: ₹50,000 | Refund: ₹50,000 | Retained: ₹0

4. Reasons for Institute-Initiated Cancellation

IAMAIPLUS may cancel or postpone a course under the following circumstances, resulting in a full refund to all enrolled learners:

  • Insufficient Enrollment: Minimum enrollment numbers not met
  • Instructor Unavailability: Unexpected instructor illness or emergency
  • Force Majeure: Natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions
  • Technical Issues: Critical technical infrastructure failures
  • Safety Concerns: Health, safety, or security threats
  • Facility Issues: Venue unavailability or infrastructure problems
Alternative Options: Instead of a refund, you may choose to transfer your enrollment to:
  • A future batch of the same course at no additional cost
  • A different course of equal or lesser value
  • Receive a credit note valid for 12 months

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided under the following circumstances:

5.1 Disciplinary Termination

If your enrollment is terminated due to violation of the Code of Conduct, including but not limited to harassment, cheating, or disruptive behavior, no refund will be provided.

5.2 Poor Academic Performance

Failure to complete assessments, achieve passing grades, or meet course requirements does not qualify for a refund. Academic support is available to help you succeed.

5.3 Personal Circumstances

Changes in personal circumstances such as:

  • Change of mind or career goals
  • Relocation or travel
  • Work schedule conflicts
  • Personal or family emergencies (except in exceptional cases at management discretion)

5.4 Non-Attendance

Simply not attending classes without formally withdrawing does not constitute cancellation and does not qualify for a refund.

5.5 Course Dissatisfaction

Subjective dissatisfaction with course content, teaching style, or pace after the initial 5-day period does not qualify for a refund. We encourage you to discuss concerns with instructors during the refund-eligible period.

5.6 Third-Party Issues

Technical problems on your end (internet connectivity, device issues, software problems) do not qualify for refunds.

6. How to Request a Cancellation and Refund

Step-by-Step Process

1 Submit Written Request: Email your cancellation request to refunds@iamaiplus.com

2 Include Required Information:

  • Full name and enrollment number
  • Course name and batch details
  • Date of enrollment and payment
  • Reason for cancellation
  • Payment receipt or transaction ID
  • Bank account details for refund processing

3 Acknowledgment: You will receive an email acknowledgment within 48 business hours

4 Review Process: Your request will be reviewed within 5-7 business days

5 Decision Notification: You will be notified of the decision via email

6 Refund Processing: If approved, refunds will be processed within 15-30 business days

7. Refund Processing Details

7.1 Processing Timeline

  • Approval Time: 5-7 business days from request submission
  • Refund Initiation: Within 3 business days of approval
  • Credit to Account: 7-21 business days depending on payment method and banking institution

7.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible:

  • Credit/Debit Card: 7-14 business days
  • Bank Transfer: 3-7 business days
  • Online Payment Gateways: 7-14 business days
  • Cash Payments: Bank transfer only (account details required)

7.3 Partial Payments and Installments

For enrollments paid through installment plans:

  • Refunds will be calculated based on the total amount paid to date
  • Future installment obligations will be cancelled
  • Any outstanding payments must be settled before refund processing

8. Special Circumstances

8.1 Medical Emergencies

In cases of serious medical emergencies preventing course completion, the Institute may consider special refund arrangements on a case-by-case basis. Medical documentation must be provided.

8.2 Military Deployment

Active military personnel who receive deployment orders may be eligible for special consideration. Official deployment orders must be submitted.

8.3 Course Transfer

Instead of cancellation, you may request a one-time transfer to a future batch of the same course, subject to:

  • Request made before 50% course completion
  • Availability in the desired batch
  • Completion within 12 months of original enrollment
  • Transfer fee may apply

9. Course Postponement by Institute

If the Institute postpones a course after commencement, enrolled learners have the following options:

  • Option 1: Continue in the rescheduled batch at no additional cost
  • Option 2: Transfer to another available course of equal value
  • Option 3: Request a full refund (100%)
  • Option 4: Receive a credit voucher valid for 18 months

10. Refund for Course Material Fees

If separate fees were paid for physical course materials:

  • Materials Not Dispatched: Full refund of material fees
  • Materials Dispatched but Not Opened: Refund minus shipping costs (materials must be returned unused)
  • Materials Opened/Used: No refund for material fees
  • Digital Materials: Non-refundable once access is provided

11. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with a refund decision:

  1. Submit an appeal to appeals@iamaiplus.com within 7 days of the decision
  2. Provide any additional documentation supporting your case
  3. The appeal will be reviewed by senior management
  4. A final decision will be communicated within 10 business days
  5. Management decisions are final and binding

12. Important Reminders

  • All cancellation requests must be in writing via email
  • The cancellation date is the date we receive your email, not the date you send it
  • Verbal cancellation requests are not accepted
  • Refunds are processed only after all course materials are returned (if applicable)
  • You will lose access to course materials and learning platform immediately upon cancellation
  • Certificates cannot be issued for cancelled enrollments
  • Placement services are terminated upon cancellation
